I Was Hacked...

I am a boy who have'nt thought about security of the accounts on the web. I am very interested in web designing and hosting a site, but as i am poor so i dont have any domain but i had a free Wap domain of Mywibes site builder, and i gave my most of times to create that site, at first there were only two visitors one is me and another is my friend but then after i got a little knowledge of HTML and my interest increased to more high level so, i continue worked on my site, after some days amazingly visitors increased over than 100, My desire was in the line of success, in few more days my site became very famous, and there were lots of visitors, requests and hits to my site. I felt that hard work really gives a better result. But as i was not introduced of hacking and how to be safe from hackers, my site got hacked and since i was used the same password on my email my email was also hacked, i have recovered my email in around 3 hours of hacking but unfortunatly i havent get my site back as Mywibes is free and only for earning service, they are very bad, i suggest do not make a site from there, they just looking for there earning, and please never use same password to all of your accounts to be safe online. After hacking of my account i searched for how to be safe online, and read lots of blogs, forums, sites etc. And now following the instructions of them. Please be safe, and never get a hurt like me.

Online (Mail & Others) Safety Tips

The most important thing to be safe online is SAVE YOUR EMAIL because we all know that most of other accounts needed that email id to resigster or in case of forgot password etc. So, its important to Give your Email a tight Security Here is some tips:

1. Never use the same password for every accounts, if you do then if your account will be hack then they will hack your all account.
2. Always create an optional alternate Email to use for recovery and when on Public Computer, and delete important mails regularly even from trash folder of your alternate email, and never share your permanent email in any place which can be harmful like social network sites, forum, Blog, Unsecure site etc.
3. All popular mail service have a Forwarding feature use this feature to your alternate email to forward mails to your permanent one. Generally it is done like this: Login to mail > Settings > Forwarding
4. Always use your secondary email in public cafe, or any public place like Colleges, Office etc. And never left any important mails to them and always sing out.
5. Do not use this Secondary Email as recovery to your Permanent one use it like secondary, you can use your Phone no. As the recovery option of your Secondary mail.
6. Check your activity you have done and always check Filters if you will find any suspicious activity, Change password without loosing your time. And delete filters not done by you.
7. Do not click on any links if, you will find any mail telling you about money or, request you to loging to any account. They creates fake login page to get your loging details.
8. Use unique password for each important account and download Key Scrambler to fight with Key loggers, i suggest you QFX Key Scrambler!
9. Always use https connection , security questions and phone no. to recover your compromised or hacked accounts
